Kieran Healy a étudié les voting patterns des différentes nations lors du concours de l’Eurovision : on remarque très nettement la proximité des votes irlandais et britanniques. Mais il se base sur une hypothèse à mon avis trop forte:

“Given that Eurovision songs are (to a first approximation) uniformly worthless, we can assume that votes express a simple preference for one nation over another, uncomplicated by any aesthetic considerations.”

Le concours (samedi soir) lui donnera-t-il tort?
